Something New For Me!

I didn't make this footstool to sell, but did it for my wife. The footstool is an old one that my dad made many years ago . . . I just gave it a facelift. I call this a Folk Style of painting. The only reason I am posting it is because my daughter wanted to see it, so I am posting it for her to take a look at.

This is my first entry in my blog. I am hoping to meet people like me who like to make things out of wood to sell. Here is my most recent product, Adirondack Chairs. I have sold 23 of them this summer as well as footstools and tables to go with them.

I really enjoy building them, but I hate painting them. I get my sister or my wife to paint them for me as I get drips and globs all over the place.
