New Etsy Items

Well, my Dad is giving Etsy another shot. Anyone who has tried to sell their own hand made creations knows the trials and tibulations you go through when putting your items out there for the world to see. But he is a great artist and I think the world should know it! ;) He has agreed to let me play around a little with his blog and his shop, so from time to time you may find me sneaking in here and adding a post or two. Here are a few items just listed, go check them out and give my Dad's newly renovated shop some love!

I'm Back at Etsy ...

My daughter has agreed to help me with my Etsy shop and we have reopened with a new name.
The new name is Cranberry Run. We have just started listing items for sale and have sold one item already and we just started today. I will start posting items that are for sale on Etsy here on my blog, so if you are interested you can go to my Etsy Shop and check it out. I will be posting a link to the shop at the right for you to go there very soon. So that is my big news!!!

Something Different . . .

I've done so many flowers that I thought I would try something different on this box. I put a couple folk figures on it and created a folksy type box. I don't know if this kind of thing is popular, but when I take it to our next craft show in November I'll find out. By the way, I would like to thank Holly and Valerie for their comments on my previous posts . . . the comments are greatly appreciated.

Two New Boxes for Craft Show . . .

Here are two new boxes I designed for Craft Show selling. I tried something different on the box with violets by putting a nice corner design on it. I think it gives the box a different look. I am working on another box right now and will post it when I get it completed.

I QUIT!!!!

This is to let my one follower know that I am no longer selling on Etsy. My boxes just don't sell on Etsy for some reason and I don't want to try to compete with the thousands of people selling there. I am going to concentrate my efforts from now on on Craft Shows. So this blog will focus on my work for craft shows from this day forward.

Taking Painting to a New Level

I am trying to take my painting to a higher level than it has been, and this box is my first attempt. I am not putting it on Etsy just yet because it isn't lined. I put it here so that my daughter could see it.

I made this small hexagon box early last Spring and thought I would try listing it on Etsy. If it interests you, go to my Etsy Shop and check it out.

New Etsy Listings

Here are two boxes that I just posted in my Etsy Shop. The one on the left is the green version of the one I mentioned below. The one on the right is a Folksy Style box that I thought I would try just to see what happens. Let me know what you think of them.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile

I want to welcome people coming to my blog from my daughter's blog Pumpkin Patch Quilter. It is really nice of you all to come here. I haven't been keeping up with Etsy like I should have. I have been busy selling lawn furniture I make. ( I had one fellow order four Adirondack Chairs from me and that kept me busy for awhile making them.) I made the box pictured above about a week ago and thought I would post it here for you to see. I did a similar one in green. I will most likely sell it at a Craft Fair, but if you are interested in it just send me an email and I will quickly post it on Etsy. (I do all my sales here through Etsy, even though I'm not listing anything at present. One nice thing is you can buy with Paypal on Etsy.) I will try to keep my listings up to date both on here and Etsy, but if I fall a bit behind please forgive me.

Something Different . . .

This box was inspired by my daughter who loves to quilt. I put Irises on the top and tried to make it look like a quilt. My sister says it looks American Indian, but I don't think so. Anyway for more photos of it go to my Etsy Shop where I posted it yesterday.

Kind of a Dutch Feeling Box . . .

This is my latest addition to my Etsy Shop. It is a box that I think has kind of a Dutch feel to it. My daughter has been too busy lately to come visit my blog, so if you are new here, I will be glad to hear your comments. I really enjoyed making this box and am happy with the way it turned out.

Two More Boxes added to Etsy Shop

I just posted these two boxes on Etsy. I am trying to get good photos of the boxes, but it isn't easy. I am taking a class next week in Digital Photography and hopefully I will learn some ways to take better pictures. I put these photos on my blog to keep my daughter and friends informed. But my daughter is so busy raising two small children (with a third on the way) that she doesn't get much time to go on the computer and visit my blog. So, I hope whoever reads this will comment and let me know what you think.

A Small Blue Box with Violets . . .

I've done so many hexagon boxes lately that I thought I'd better do some conventional shaped ones. This small blue box is my newest addition to my Etsy Shop. It is lined with a lovely powder blue panne velvet and the violets are outlined with an antique gold paint. I have never done a box like this, so I will see if it sells or not. My wife likes it, but then again she likes everything I do.

Another small addition to my Etsy Shop:

Here is a little hexagon box I just posted to my Etsy Shop. The overall color is violet with a nice pink rose in the middle of the lid. I lined it with violet panne to match the exterior.

I Just Added These Boxes to My Etsy Shop

Here are photos of boxes that I just finished up and posted in my Etsy Shop. They are small hexagon boxes about 6" wide. I lined them with panne velvet and I think they came out fairly nice. I had alot of fun making these boxes and I hope that they sell soon.

Now I Have an Etsy Shop You Can Visit!!!!

I haven't posted anything on my Blog in a couple months because I have been busy making decorative boxes. I set some of them up at a small craft show where my wife works and did fairly well selling them. I also put some on display in their gift area and sold some more after the show. I made two like the one pictured above and sold one of them. The other one is for sale in my new Etsy Shop, which I call Bob's Boxes. Here is a link to the shop:
I hope you can visit Bob's Boxes. I have only got about six boxes on display at present, but I hope to add a couple more by the end of the week.Instead of posting pictures of them here, I will post them in my shop for sale. So, take a look at my shop and tell me what you think.
